SOCIOLINGUISTICS
 This little introduction to some related aspects in the field of social linguistics is designed to encourage you to read further to improve and wide your knowledge about your maternal and foreigner language if you are studying one. There are many fascinating and odd phenomena that occur in the social aspects of languages because of many reasons such as social and socioeconomic position, age, sex, ethnicity, religion, education, etc; for that reason is important to get information about this subject, because languages change and adapt according to the time, situation or external influence that could affect the culture or nation.
Sociolinguistics is the study of how language serves and is shaped by the social nature of human beings. Sociolinguistics analyzes the many and diverse ways in which language and society entwine. This vast field requires and combines insights from a number of disciplines, including linguistics, sociology, psychology and anthropology.
It is important to mention that the situation and behaves in different fields of current cultures as education or economic position was really affected and determined for the way their ancestors thought to use their education, their capacity for communicate and negotiate with other cultures and countries, in a moment determined the economical position and their attitude to follow and keep their own cultural and linguistic sovereigns principles determinate a higher or lower education degree among population.
For example Costa Rica has been influenced by different costumes from different countries that have damaged seriously our culture, unfortunately, celebrations that use to be practiced in other countries have involved people and children taken them to do shameful acts, as well, an external influence over our language has considerably increased and little by little is harming our children and idiosyncrasy. Nowadays, the violence and insecure social situation that we are witness wasn’t common but it starts from what children learn and practice from others with different beliefs and costumes.
